Equi-libre Horses (ELH) is the trading name of Jo Hughes.

The following terms and conditions apply to ELH courses, workshops, lessons and clinics booked as well as ELH Academy of Positive Horsemanship Memberships:

One-2-One Lessons & Behaviour Consultations with Equi-libre Horses

Unfortunately due to an increasing number of late cancellations for one-to-one lessons and behaviour consultations recently, I have been forced to change my bookings and cancellations terms and conditions.

Bookings

Full payment for the lesson or consultation fee (not including travel costs) is required in order to accept and confirm a booking a minimum of 7 days before the session date.

Please bear in mind when booking that Jo Hughes will teach in pretty much any weather!

Cancellations

If your cancellation occurs:

If ELH should need to cancel your lesson, we will do so with as much warning as possible and we shall offer other available dates to re-book. If no acceptable date can be agreed a full refund will be given of any funds pre-paid.

Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Clinics/Courses/Workshops with Equi-libre Horses

Deposits must be received by us at least 30 days prior to the commencement dates of the workshop, course or clinic booked. Payment in full is required before commencement of the workshop, course or clinic booked will take place.

Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the place on the workshop, course or clinic and the following cancellation fees will be enforced:

If you are unable attend a workshop, course or clinic with 30 days or less notice before the the course commencement date then we can transfer your place to another named person if you can provide an alternative delegate. It is your responsibility to negotiate reimbursement of the fee from the delegate you provide. If you cannot provide an alternative delegate, it will be deemed as cancelled and the full fee is payable.

If ELH cancel one of our courses/workshops/clinics we shall offer other available dates to re-book or if no acceptable date can be agreed a full refund will be given of any funds pre-paid.

Clinics/Courses with External Clinicians

To arrange events of this nature with external clinicians, ELH must make advance financial commitment in order to secure the required resources for a successful event. Reservation of your place will therefore require payment in full at least 30 days prior to the commencement dates of the course/clinic, otherwise we are not be able to guarantee your place.

We regret to advise that the fee for these events are 100% non-refundable.

If ELH cancel any clinic/course with an external clinician we shall do our best to offer another available date to re-book or if no acceptable date can be agreed a full refund will be given of any funds pre-paid.

Athena, ELH’s Saddle Horse

If ELH cancel any course/workshop/lesson/clinic we shall offer other available dates to re-book or if no acceptable date can be agreed a full refund will be given of any funds pre-paid.

If any client/delegate violates the rules of behaviour or health and safety at any clinic/workshop/course or lesson or is any way deemed negligent to the care and welfare of their horse they will be required to leave the premises immediately taking their property and horse and will be liable to pay the full fee for the courses/lessons they are attending.
