Jenni has a BSc (Hons) in Equine Science from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and MSc in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling from the University of Southampton, where she undertook in-depth studies in feral pony behaviour and the effects of training method on horse-human relationships respectively. Jenni has also worked as a groom and trainer at a national animal welfare organisation, a stud, and a competition livery yard and riding school.
In 2005 Jenni established her equine behaviour and training service where she helps people develop more fulfilling relationships with their horses. Her role is to help people understand what their horse’s behaviour is telling them, and to help them discover effective, horse friendly, evidence based ways to interact with, train and manage their horses. Jenni is a firm believer in positive reinforcement and the creation of horse-centred environments, where horses and their people can enjoy living and learning.
